The QCH Beacon program turns our school building into a neighborhood hub — afterschool homework help, enrichment, evening classes, and Saturday programming.

What a Beacon afternoon looks like.
Afterschool participants receive support and guidance from caring, culturally-sensitive adults. A balanced mix of high-quality educational, recreational, and cultural activities are offered through:
- Homework help & academic support
- Enrichment — STEM (science, technology, engineering, math)
- Literacy learning through theater, music, dance, and creative arts
- Physical activity, recreation & healthy living
- Field trips
- Leadership, service learning & civic engagement
