Curriculum

The programs beyond the classroom.

Art, music, STEM, ENL, PE, library, and the quiet supports that make 93-11 the kind of school where every child finds a subject that feels like theirs.

Programs

  • ENL
    Multilingual Learners

ENL teachers and our coordinator partner with classroom teachers so every multilingual learner has both academic English support and room for their home language.

  • STEM
    STEM Lab

Our STEM specialist runs hands-on engineering, coding, and science investigations across grades — ramps, circuits, plants, and everything in between.

  • Art
    Visual Art

Every class attends art on a weekly rotation with our art teacher — drawing, painting, collage, and sculpture tied to classroom content.

  • Music
    Music, Band & Chorus

General music for all grades, plus band and chorus electives for upper-grade students who want to go deeper.

  • Gym
    Physical Education

Two PE teachers keep our gym busy with movement, sport skills, and wellness across every grade.

  • Library
    School Library

A dedicated librarian leads book selection, research skills, and our beloved annual Book Fair.

  • Support
    SETSS & Math Support

Pull-out and push-in support for children who need an extra hand with reading or math, tuned to each student's plan.

  • Wellbeing
    Counseling & Health

A school counselor, speech therapy, and health staff support the whole child — not just the academic one.

Beyond the bell

Afterschool keeps going until evening.

Queens Community House (QCH) and City Year partner with our school to run afterschool programs rich in homework help, enrichment, sports, and community.
